Functions of the Committies

Arrangement of sending letters to parents or guardians of the students at the beginning of the academic year for creation of awareness.

• Constituting an anti-ragging squad and monitor the functioning of the same.
• Suggesting measures to tighten vigil against any act that constitutes ragging.
• Taking Measures for prevention of ragging so that fresher, senior students and every staff of the institute are made aware of the measures.
• Taking Measures to eliminate ragging as per the definition given in the relevant regulations, and include the formation of the Anti-Ragging Squad, Mentoring Cell on ragging etc.
• Ensuring that undertakings in the form of Affidavit by students, parents / guardians and staff members of the institutes are taken.
• Ensuring that the actions to be taken are as per the guidelines of the relevant regulations of the regulatory bodies.
• Timely circulation of action taken report to the concerned authorities against Anti Ragging in the institute.
• Devising mechanism for receiving, processing and addressing all the information regarding incidence of ragging.
• Devising and promulgating a credible anti-ragging policy in college.
